Wellness is Learned & Practiced

Women need access to tools they can actively integrate into their healing, along with a support system that offers guidance, encouragement, and clarity as each person moves along her own path. Emotional wellness and stability don’t happen passively, they are developed through experience. This process requires reflection, adjustment, and consistent support.

THE WOMEN WE SERVE

No. 1

Those who come to us are seekers! Our residents are seeking healing from trauma, substance misuse, mental health concerns, or a combination of all three, which may prohibit them from living their best lives.

No. 2

We support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. Each person who comes to us brings their own story. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming space.

No. 3

They are women seeking an extra level of support in their healing, including a safe, secure space to practice using the new tools needed for long-term wellness.

Our intention at Ohana Recovery Residences is to fully support women who have the desire to achieve long term mental wellness.

We believe in self care through self awareness. The women who choose to use transitional housing while they are in some level of treatment have an added support system to help them make the changes that will lead to their long term wellness.  In addition, in our experience, in order to create major changes in our lives it requires knowledge, implementation through practice, and encouragement from a team of both clinical and support staff. All of this takes TIME. Give yourself the gift of time, and fully submerge yourself in the process.

Our commitment is in the environment at Ohana, where self development is encouraged and supported.
