Wellness is Learned & Practiced

Women need access to tools they can integrate into their healing, along with a support system of staff who can encourage and provide information as each woman progresses on her own path. Emotional wellness and stability cannot be taught or transferred by osmosis. It is experiential learning which requires reflection, modification, and support from a trained clinical team and housing staff.

THE WOMEN WE SERVE

No. 1

They are seekers! Our residents are seeking healing from trauma, addiction, mental health concerns, or a combination of all three, which keeps them from living a life they can enjoy.

No. 2

They are professionals, students, daughters, mothers, grandmothers of different backgrounds, races and locations. LGBTQ+ friendly.

No. 3

They are looking for an extra level of support to pursue a healing style of treatment which introduces a safe, secure residence while they incorporate new tools needed for long term wellness.

Our intention at Ohana Recovery Residences is to fully support women who have the desire to achieve long term mental wellness.

We believe in self care through self awareness. The women who choose to use transitional housing while they are in some level of treatment have an added support system to help them make the changes that will lead to their long term wellness.  In addition, in our experience, in order to create major changes in our lives it requires knowledge, implementation through practice, and encouragement from a team of both clinical and support staff. All of this takes TIME. Give yourself the gift of time, and fully submerge yourself in the process.

Our commitment is in the environment at Ohana, where self development is encouraged and supported.
